Job Club
CAP Job Club is a free, friendly eight-week course that usually runs on Wednesday mornings, 10am to 12pm at the Zeo Centre in Hitchin. Everything you need is provided, and we also offer a complimentary light lunch. Everyone in our community is welcome.
Over the eight weeks, we’ll explore things like:
- Getting to know you and your goals
- Discovering your strengths and building confidence
- Creating or refreshing your CV and cover letters
- Practical help with interviews
- Plus plenty more useful tips for your job search
There’s no pressure – and there’s always time for a cuppa, a chat, and a laugh along the way.
We finish with a celebration to recognise your progress and achievements.

Who are CAP?
CAP stands for Christians Against Poverty – a UK charity that offers free, practical help to people who are struggling with debt, unemployment, or money worries. Their services are completely free and open to everyone, with a focus on care, dignity, and hope.
