Hidden In Plain Sight

Hilarious comedian, Andy Kind, brings a fresh take on life and faith – what might you have been missing?
The Refugee

Not all Giants are obvious, some go unnoticed or perhaps we just try not to think about them. This Sunday as part of our “Change the World” series, we explore the largest mass movement of people since World War 2 as we look at the refugee crises. We explore a theology of work with refugees, some of the pitfalls and tensions and hearing stories of real people in real places, and learning from refugees who have had no choice but to embrace displacement, discomfort and not just survive but thrive.
The Persecuted Church

In the Matthew 25 parable of the Sheep and Goats, Jesus challenges us to reach out to those who are imprisoned. In this second part of our ‘Change The World’ series, we look at the serious struggle faced by over 215 million Christians in the world who are persecuted. What does it mean for us to commit to make a difference in the midst of their suffering? How do their lives challenge us to reject a comfortably, cosy Christianity?
The Poor

In Matthew 25, the parable of the Sheep and the Goats, Jesus gives a challenging warning about the risks of faith that does not outwork in loving actions – particularly for the last, the least and the lost. In this new 3 part series, we’ll be looking at our call to be engage in seeing God’s justice break out in an unjust world and how he calls us to play out part in that mission. In this first talk, we’ll be looking at the challenges of poverty and famine – and how we can make a difference (including through organisations like World Vision).
